Sarah J. Showard, Attorney
Sarah Showard graduated from the University of Maryland in 1985, Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English-Linguistics and a Certification in Women’s Studies. She then graduated from New York University School of Law in 1988. Sarah began practice initially as an insurance defense attorney, and has been representing plaintiffs since 1990.
Sarah has a son, Benjamin, who currently attends St. Gregory College Preparatory School and plans to attend law school and join Showard Law Firm in the future. In her spare time Sarah enjoys horseback riding and spending time in Sonoita with her boyfriend Peter. Click here to email Sarah J. Showard

Maria De La Rosa, Supervising Legal Assistant -Personal Injury
A native Tucsonan, Maria has over 19 years of experience working in the legal field. She worked closely with Sarah for 13 of those years at a national law firm until 2006 when they formed Showard Law Firm. During her years in the legal field she has worked in nearly every aspect in a legal office with the exception of attorney. Maria has managed and trained staff, and brings to Showard Law Firm many years of knowledge and experience in the legal field. Maria feels very fortunate to be a part of Showard Law Firm and working with Sarah. She is also a mother of two wonderful sons and one beautiful daughter. She is the grandmother of twin boys, a grandson and two granddaughters, who she enjoys spending her free time with.

Elizabeth Orr, Supervising Legal Assistant -Mass Torts
A native Arizonan who graduated from Pima Middle College with honors, and attended Pima College where her studies included Criminal Law and Psychology. She worked for Pima County Superior Court for six years before taking her position with Showard Law Firm.
Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family and being involved in Special Olympics, in particular assisting and befriending those individuals with Autism and Down Syndrome.

Carole Torpey, Legal Assistant -Mass Torts
Carole moved to Tucson in 1971 from Pennsylvania. She has over 25 years of experience working in many areas of the legal field. Prior to joining the Showard Law Firm, Prior to joining the Showard Law Firm, she worked in personal injury and medical malpractice law for many years. She is the mother of a son and daughter and six grandchildren, whom she loves spending time with. Carole is also very active with the “Better Than Ever” biking, walking and running group who raise money for the Arizona Cancer Center each year, and has participated in the half marathon for 12 years and many other 10K and 5K races.

Linh T. Armstrong, Legal Assistant
Linh T. Armstrong recently relocated to Tucson from Washington state with her husband, who is a proud member of the U.S. Armed Forces. Prior to joining Showard Law, Linh worked for Washington Employers Association, where she gained over eight years of experience in the field of workers’ compensation. Linh greatly values spending time with her family and friends. In her spare time, Linh enjoys hiking, baking, and photography. Linh feels extremely blessed and happy to be a part of the Showard Law family.
Linh T. Armstrong, Legal Assistant
Alejandra M. Salas, a native Tucsonan, graduated from Brown Mackie College with her Associates of Science in Paralegal Studies in October of 2014. She worked at a law firm specializing in criminal defense for four years prior to joining the Showard Law Firm. Alejandra enjoys spending time with her son, Leonardo, her fiancé John, her mother Griselda, and her two older brothers, Nathaniel and Jerod. She also enjoys cooking for her family and outdoor activities including fishing, hiking, and camping . Alejandra enjoys the exciting work at Showard Law, values the opportunity to help members of the Tucson community, and feels fortunate to be a part of the Showard Law team.
