Sarah J. Showard, Attorney


Sarah Showard graduated from the University of Maryland in 1985, Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English-Linguistics and a Certification in Women's Studies. She then graduated from New York University School of Law in 1988. Sarah began practice initially as an insurance defense attorney, and has been representing plaintiffs since 1990.

Sarah has a son, Benjamin,  who currently attends The Gregory School and  plans to attend law school and join Showard Law Firm in the future.  In her spare time Sarah enjoys horseback riding and spending time in Sonoita with her husband Peter. Email Sarah

Dany McDaniel, Front Office Assistant and Receptionist


Dany recently relocated back to Tucson from Upstate New York. Dany obtained her Bachelors Degree of Science in Criminal Justice Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2010. Prior to joining the Showard Law Firm she spent close to twenty years working in Customer Service related fields, in several different capacities, where she developed her passion for helping and working with people. In her free time she enjoys watching movies, spending time with her three children, and volunteering to help raise breast cancer awareness. Dany has long been searching for a career where she can work closely with people while utillizing her education and feels she has found the perfect fit with the Showard Law Firm.

Maria De La Rosa, Senior Legal Assistant - Personal Injury


A native Tucsonan, Maria has over 19 years of experience working in the legal field. She worked closely with Sarah for 13 of those years at a national law firm until 2006 when they formed Showard Law Firm. During her years in the legal field she has worked in nearly every aspect in a legal office with the exception of attorney. Maria has managed and trained staff, and brings to Showard Law Firm many years of knowledge and experience in the legal field. Maria feels very fortunate to be a part of Showard Law Firm and working with Sarah. She is also a mother of two wonderful sons and one beautiful daughter. She is the grandmother of twin boys, a grandson and two granddaughters, who she enjoys spending her free time with.

Elizabeth Orr, Supervising Legal Assistant - Mass Torts


A native Arizonan who graduated from Pima Middle College with honors, and attended Pima College where her studies included Criminal Law and Psychology. She worked for Pima County Superior Court for six years before taking her position with Showard Law Firm.

Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family and being involved in Special Olympics, in particular assisting and befriending those individuals with Autism and Down Syndrome.

 Linh T. Armstrong, Legal Assistant - Mass Torts


Linh T. Armstrong recently relocated to Tucson from Washington state with her husband, who is a proud member of the U.S. Armed Forces. Prior to joining Showard Law, Linh worked for Washington Employers Association, where she gained over eight years of experience in the field of workers' compensation. Linh greatly values spending time with her family and friends and is the proud mother of Mya, her beautiful baby girl. Linh is a foodie and enjoys hiking, home DIY projects, cooking/baking and photography. Linh feels extremely blessed and happy to be a part of the Showard Law family.

Charlotte Young, Legal Assistant - Mass Torts


Charlotte L .Young, is a new a legal assistant working with us. Charlotte, originally from Texas, brings with her an array of experiences in different fields.  Prior to her move to the Tucson area, she worked for a National Non-Profit Affiliate NeighborWorks-Laredo (NWL), for 3 ½ years. While there, she managed small claims and collections for their lending department and attained a 40% collection rate, the highest the organization had ever seen. She chaired and hosted NWL'S Annual Home Fair and Expo for their community outreach program, tripling attendance numbers.  Charlotte is a mother of one and believes in living a fit and healthy lifestyle as key to maintaining balance. In her free time she enjoys training for National Physique Competitions and is seeking to advance into competing professionally.

Carole Torpey, Legal Assistant - Mass Torts


Carole moved to Tucson in 1971 from Pennsylvania. She has over 25 years of experience working in many areas of the legal field. Prior to joining the Showard Law Firm, she worked in personal injury and medical malpractice law for many years. She is the mother of a son and daughter and six grandchildren, whom she loves spending time with. Carole is also very active with the “Better Than Ever” biking, walking and running group who raise money for the Arizona Cancer Center each year, and has participated in the half marathon for 12 years and many other 10K and 5K races.
